Today I got a little work done on the layout with it being a hot, dry, still day without wind. The work I was able to do was to coat the Scenic Express trees I straightened yesterday with green turf and finishing with Super Leaves also by Scenic Express. Again, the armatures I spray with 3M Adhesive, then apply the foliage, then I seal with hair spray. Photos below of the finished product:
I did “plant” two more of these against the left wall, at the edge of the original layout as shown below:
Before coating all of the trees, I test fit some trees along Blue Creek as shown below:
After drying, I’ll plant all the trees early this week. A good friend yesterday also gave me an extra package of the pull-apart static grass by Bachmann, which I needed to use in several different spots:
