As mentioned in my previous blog post, I recently picked up two Athearn Genesis cars for the Hitop. One of these being the Evergreen Freight Car 50’ boxcar. I started weathering this car the past weekend, with the car now looking like the photos below. I have to seal everything as yet, then place some reweigh data in the patched areas. I should be done with this car in the next few days, as I’ve only applied fairly light weathering to this one. The next car up then will be my Western Fruit Express reefer….
