Railfan’s day part 2….

Today, I’ll cover the Valley turn, as I haven’t chased this guy in awhile. The turn starts off in Spring Street yard, picking up cars left by the Spring Street turn out of Dickinson yard. Today however, the turn had to run engine light up the Hitop Secondary to rescue the Morris Fork turn which had outlawed previously. Photos of this chase are below, including its return to Spring Street:

With the cars from the Morris Fork turn safely put away in the yard, the turn went about its next task of taking a boxcar load up the valley to Kanawha Valley Feed and Seed. I chased him up the line taking the photos below:

While this was going on, the Nitro turn was putting his train together in Spring Street yard, tank cars for both Holsum Baking and Allied Chemical. After leaving Spring Street I followed him back to Nitro. Photos below of this action:
